@edgeoforever @neilasaurus. I talked about how to stop #Musk last year on the #BradCast with @TheBradBlog
I didn't predict how much of the damage to #Twitter would be his own doing, but I said we should use his blunders to show that advertisers wouldn't stick around. I was right. But it didn't force social media companies to make themselves #brandsafe.
The other social media companies didn't care. #Meta #Threads say they care, but....

Fascinating. I've read them myself to learn how they defined #ThreatsOfViolence #disinformation #HateSpeech & #harassment; as well as what they say they will do to people who violate the terms.
#Threads is under the #Instagram umbrella.

#Meta wants Threads to be #BrandSafe to get paid advertisers, which they don't have yet. But they DO have Big brand USERS who came from Instagram.
Now is the time to demand Meta enforce its #CommunityGuidelines.

@timberwraith I was posting stuff to Threads today because I wanted to reach the #SistersInLaw. They aren't on Mastodon. But they got on Threads within a week. It makes me sad, because I'd like to have a conversation with them here, but I realized that because they are "Famous " the RW trolls would follow them here. So what I decided to do is report the trolls following them on Threads & report them. If #Meta doesn't act the Sisters can see that #Meta isn't #brandsafe for liberals. #Mastodon
If someone lies under oath to the Grand Jury when can we find out if they were lying? At trial, months later?
I asked this question to @BarbMcQuade of the #SistersInLawPodcast on #Threads since they decided it's #BrandSafe to post there.
On the podcast she talked about #JaredKurshner testifying under oath before the #GrandJury. If Jared lied & it can be proved, who brings the perjury charges?
She probably won't answer, so could the #LawyersOfMastodon answer? @emptywheel
#JackSmith #Jan6th

@GottaLaff @emptywheel so I was listening to the #SistersInLaw podcast today and they are telling people to contact them on #Twitter or #Threads. I think this is Corp America saying "We think Threads is #brandsafe and our audience is there."

What this tells me is that we need to put pressure of #Meta to enforce their #ContentModeration & #CommunityGuidelines.
Start by showing the RW accounts that are violating the #TOS & demand they be removed.

Alex Wagner just said Andrew Weissman posted some important on Threads.

I'm thinking that means Threads is now deemed a #BrandSafe social media platform and can be used used by MSNBC instead of Twitter.

When a big name breaks something on Threads instead of Twitter, and the Media uses that? That is a signal.
