Awww! We will have our #MotionSickness related Accessibility workshop "tomorrow" (Friday at 9am =.=) at #BoosterConf... and sessionize, the software they used for speaker relations, generated this cute banner to share.
Many 90s-web-vibes <3

Also we finally agreed on a hashtag for all things regarding motion-sickness-safe websites: #PukeLessWeb.

Waaaay shorter than our old workshop hashtags :)

Booster Conference 2025

Booster Conference, The Software Conference for the Whole Team

Now Peter Hilton is talking about #ZeroBugsPolicy. I am quite envious of a team that most of the time can now talk about "the bug" — because there is only one (or two or none).

#BoosterConf

Btw: Helén was the first speaker at #BoosterConf that I've heard mention their pronouns. I also did not see anyone else noting them down on their lanyard.

Huge difference to SoCraTes.

But its only the first day and I did not interact with that many people yet, maybe I've missed many pronoun-aware folks.

One thing that surprises me about #BoosterConf, though: I haven't seen a single attendee (or orga person) wearing a mask besides me and my colleague.
Huh.

I tried to research recent waste water numbers for Bergen (or Norway in general) but could not find anything from 2025.

Day two of #BoosterConf starts strong: Helén Persson's intro into Mob Programming/Software Teaming was exactly the intro I always wanted and never got.

Answered many of the questions I had, had reasonable examples and considerations.
Even the question what to do, if the pilot does not know language X or not how to do the thing in the language: You say "we need to do Y. to do that you type...".

Isn't it strange that the only thing we're not supposed to be agile about, with agile frameworks, is the way of working and the framework itself?

I hope I find some more mastonauts at the conference.

The mastodon-default and the mastodon-walls at #38c3 were really sweet, I hope this becomes the norm elsewhere as well :)

I'm really glad this conference is happening in an hotel, so that I can go to my room (albeit it's located at the far end of the floor </3) for toilet breaks.

Because there are long lines for the loos and no unisex toilets as far as I can tell.
