Creativity of the week. 1. I worked on my 1830s corset. As far as I know corsets weren’t black then, but I had black coutil in my stash, and I like to use what I have. 2. Spent a pleasant afternoon with @litenkrubba (and @hagaeusbygghantverk and @vintage_mungojerrie ), chatting about 1830s fashion, cutting bones for the corset, and assembling the pdf pattern for Truly Victorian’s Romantic Era Dress pattern. 3. Read Gina Rossi Armfield’s ”No Excuses Art Journaling”. I have long wanted to get back to drawing, but find it hard to begin. I’m hoping the book can get some helpful tips and structure to get going. 4. Read 5 books and novellas. ”The Frozen People” by Elle Griffiths and the first 4 Penric novellas by Lois McMaster Bujold.
