Creativity of the week. Normally I hate deadlines, but I really want to finish my Robe Volante UFO for a masked ball next week, so this week I have concentrated on that. Finally got the sleevils in, after 3 tries, and the front pleating. Because of deadline i haven’t done anything else. And I finished the 3 last Penric and Desdemona novellas by Lois McMaster Bujold. All rereads, and very enjoyable rereads too.

Creativity of the week. 1. Finished the bindings of my re-made stays. The original stays had grown too big, so I cut the down using @scrooppatterns Cassandra stays pattern, though keeping the original boning pattern. 2. I continued with Lois McMaster’s Penric and Desdemona novellas, and finished four. 3. I didn’t finish 7 small drawings, but I did 4. Good enough.

Creativity of the week. 1. I worked on my 1830s corset. As far as I know corsets weren’t black then, but I had black coutil in my stash, and I like to use what I have. 2. Spent a pleasant afternoon with @litenkrubba (and @hagaeusbygghantverk and @vintage_mungojerrie ), chatting about 1830s fashion, cutting bones for the corset, and assembling the pdf pattern for Truly Victorian’s Romantic Era Dress pattern. 3. Read Gina Rossi Armfield’s ”No Excuses Art Journaling”. I have long wanted to get back to drawing, but find it hard to begin. I’m hoping the book can get some helpful tips and structure to get going. 4. Read 5 books and novellas. ”The Frozen People” by Elle Griffiths and the first 4 Penric novellas by Lois McMaster Bujold.
