I regularly visit the village's book crossing shelf for two reasons :

1- I have the licence to neatly sort the books as much as I feel like. Sometimes it is the only reason of my daily walk ;

2- the range of topics is incredibly vast for such a tiny space/amount of books.

Last time there were a few books in Cyrillic, one in Arabic with a little space explorer drawn on the cover, several vintage cookbooks, novels, a book about hand reading, two large picture books from distant countries, some locally printed (auto)biographies.

I brought home a lovely watercolor book, a book boldly claiming in its title "you're not sick, you're thirsty!" (take that, homeopathy) and a small guide to social life titled "Business Hygge". I opened it at a random page and it said "men, don't put stuff in the pockets of your suits, it makes them look weird" - I bet the rest of the book will amuse me greatly
