Watched Spider-Man Across the #Spiderverse, cool film but sometimes the dialogue is a bit too fast which makes it hard to follow at times

Going to order new #PercyJackson book, plus new #SkulduggeryPleasant Book and Which Way Around the Galaxy by #CressidaCowell both of which are out tomorrow. The Percy Jackson one came out Tuesday but I thought I'd order all three today so they'd all get here tomorrow

Good afternoon/early evening Mastodon/Fediverse :) been watching more Sarah Jane Aventures, sis and niece called in and Luton won #3goodthings @3goodthings

Planning to have pizza for dinner, so that's a fourth 😊 then some music and audiobook listening and maybe a #bollockstoadulthood session, and perhaps other stuff, planned for tonight

On chapter 13 of Half-Blood Prince so will have to listen to 14 as well, #OCD thing of not leaving books at chapter 13 or tv shows at episdoe 13!

Right time to pretend it's the 80s and watch cartoons on Youtube #BollocksToAdulthood #MuppetBabies

Thinking of setting up an unofficial society called the #BollocksToAdulthood society, it's for those of us who:

1. Are tired of how stressful/depressing adulting can be

2. Reject the idea that anyone can be "too old" for anything - we will read #kidsbooks, watch kids films, play games, jump on trampolines, etc

3. Reject the absurd notion that having fun, acting silly, expressing joy or enthusiasm, etc, are somehow "childish" and that adults must be serious at all times

So, who's in?

Planning which #comedy, #geekery and #BTA (#BollocksToAdulthood) stuff to indulge in tonight. I have a list of thirteen things! Not going to get round to them all so shall have to try and decide which to watch/read/listen to

Actually quite a lot of #BTA things can also go in the comedy and geekery categories. Trying to think of things that belong in all three, must be some, I guess #RoundtheTwist does, and #Maidmarianandhermerrymen, and #Dangermouse (not sure if counts as geeky though)

Oh wow, just discovered you can watch a whole load of episodes (might be every episode) of #TheMonkees on the Internet Archive, as well as the original #MuppetBabies and #FraggleRock... going to see what else is on there.

Will be handy for what I call my #BollocksToAdulthood sessions, where I will read a kids book (or listen to an #audiobook) or watch a Kids Tv Show/movie, as part of my rebellion against adulthood (which can be dull, stressful, and at times downright depressing)
