One of the most beautiful #parks of #Brussels is under threat.
The Municipality of #Ixelles has planned to build 12.700 square meters of #housing units (the equivalent of 13% of the land) in the public park of #Varda #Ernotte and therefore cut off the #forest in that area.
🏗 Both the citizens of Ixelles and of the bordering #Watermael #Boifort are fiercely opposing this #deforestation.
