I'm #BlockingThreads, you can too. 😊
I decided to block threads.net with a domain block list. Initially I thought maybe I don't have to hurry to do anything about it, since on my feed timeline newer popped up any threads account.
Since I'm here because I want an alternative and doesn't want to be part of any Meta or other surveillance capitalist social network, better to be proactive than wait till problems that those platforms start to show up here.
@thenexusofprivacy If you want to block anything remotely Meta-related, @antimeta is maintaining a list of domains owned by them

Just a reminder, we all have the ability to individually block all posts from Threads by blocking the threads.net domain. You don't have to wait for your instance to do it.
Pull up any Threads user profile eg. @mosseri then click the menu top right and select "Block threads.net". Done.
Sure instances can choose to do this for everyone and avoid the high burden of traffic from Threads and moderation burden that will eventually come, but you don't have to wait.
