I was impressed with the Blender Conference in Amsterdam. #blenderconference The Blender community is not unlike the type community. Open source tools build a strong sense of belonging and reciprocity. Workfiles, code, experiences are shared. Small companies and individuals from all over the world working together. A lot of experimentation. (1/2)

BlenderCon is such a beautiful celebration of open source software and independent artists finding out they can do more by themselves than they thought, and then finding out they don’t have to do it alone because the Blender community is so large and diverse (in all the ways, but especially geographically).
