So far I'm fairly impressed with the filters on this app. I'm able to completely silence a topic that I am not here for relatively quickly.
And bonus points for not having to hack the site in my browser to hide "trending topics" designed to make me angry.
Be patient with the new platforms if they run slow, get buggy, or crash. Remember, Twitter used to be like that, too. Who remembers the Fail Whale?
I have to say, ever since I abandoned the bird site for Mastodon, I no longer see so many people reposting the idiotic things MTG and Boebert are saying and doing, complete with pictures of their annoying faces. I am LOVING that.
