Nesta atividade, será feito o levantamento das espécies de insetos e borboletas que habitam no jardim, contribuindo para o conhecimento científico e para a valorização da biodiversidade local, ao mesmo tempo que aproxima a comunidade da natureza que a rodeia.

Not that I needed another excuse to fill my phone with pictures of random wildflowers.
On May 23rd, #Cultiva hosted a special citizen science event in the form of a #BioBlitz, in partnership with #TAGIS – the Portuguese Butterfly Conservation Centre. Participants came together to observe, record and identify the diversity of insects and butterflies found on the site, with the support of experts.
This initiative not only helped to enhance knowledge of local biodiversity, but also strengthened the community’s connection with the natural world around them.
No dia 23 de maio, a #Cultiva recebeu uma atividade especial de ciência cidadã em formato #BioBlitz, em parceria com a #TAGIS – Centro de Conservação das Borboletas de Portugal. Os participantes juntaram-se para observar, registar e identificar a diversidade de insetos e borboletas presentes no espaço, com o apoio de especialistas.
Esta ação permitiu não só contribuir para resforçar o conhecimento da biodiversidade local, mas também fortalecer a ligação da comunidade à natureza que a rodeia.

Midday, #APEEGIL and families came together to prepare potato gnocchi with monk's cress pesto, harvested directly from the garden and the #FlorestaNaCidade project site.
The day concluded as part of the Open Gardens Festival with a guided tour of the #Cultiva Garden.

A meio do dia a #APEEGIL e famílias juntaram-se para preparar gnocchi de batata com pesto de capuchinhas, colhidas diretamente na horta e no espaço do projeto #FlorestaNaCidade.
O dia terminou no âmbito do Festival Jardins Abertos, com uma visita guiada à Horta #Cultiva.
