🐛 Sobre uma planta de funcho repousa a #lagarta da borboleta-cauda-de-andorinha.
Esta a alimentar-se intensamente, acumulando a energia para a proxima transformação. Do ovo à lagarta, da crisálida à #borboleta adulta, cada etapa é um exemplo extraordinário de adaptação e renovação.

On May 23rd, #Cultiva hosted a special citizen science event in the form of a #BioBlitz, in partnership with #TAGIS – the Portuguese Butterfly Conservation Centre. Participants came together to observe, record and identify the diversity of insects and butterflies found on the site, with the support of experts.
This initiative not only helped to enhance knowledge of local biodiversity, but also strengthened the community’s connection with the natural world around them.
No dia 23 de maio, a #Cultiva recebeu uma atividade especial de ciência cidadã em formato #BioBlitz, em parceria com a #TAGIS – Centro de Conservação das Borboletas de Portugal. Os participantes juntaram-se para observar, registar e identificar a diversidade de insetos e borboletas presentes no espaço, com o apoio de especialistas.
Esta ação permitiu não só contribuir para resforçar o conhecimento da biodiversidade local, mas também fortalecer a ligação da comunidade à natureza que a rodeia.

O dia terminou no âmbito do Festival Jardins Abertos, com uma visita guiada à Horta #Cultiva.
The #Chioggia #beet is a traditional Italian variety native to the Chioggia region. In addition to its interior featuring rings of pink and white, this variety is also distinguished by its mild, slightly sweet flavor, which is less earthy than that of conventional beets.
