Fellow Sewists! I'm drawing up a pattern for a bias cut evening gown - but I'm thinking of starting with a base pattern -

So! Question - can I make a standard pattern I have - just instead of using the normal grainline - cutting it on the bias? (taking into account I will be staystitching etc)
