Beautiful light today, sun shining straight on to these gorgeous #Tree specimens. A perfect day to admire the pink and creamy tones and tactile eggshell textures of #Betulaceae. These are either a cultivar of B.utilis or possibly septentrionalis. #Treehugger

#Türkischer #Baumhasel (#Corylus colurna) aus der Familie der #Birkengewächse (#Betulaceae) verträgt das warme Stadtklima gut. Im Gegensatz zur gemeinen #Hasel, unserem einheimischen #Strauch, finden sich hieran immer noch Nüsse.

Das können stattliche #Bäume werden.

Die Fruchtstände sehen stachelig aus, sind es aber nicht. Dafür sind die leicht klebrig.
