The #JewishGhetto in #Brzeżany, #Poland (now #Berezhany, #Ukraine) was liquidated in 1943 on #ThisDayInHistory. The last 1,180 Jews in the city were marched to its Jewish cemetery and shot. The Nazi #Holocaust there started earlier, with 1,000 Jews already shot in December 1941.
