This luminous ladder, created by Benjamin Bergery and Jim Campbell and installed inside San Francisco's Grace Cathedral, references the biblical tale of Jacob's dream. He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, reaching up to heaven, with angels of God ascending and descending upon it.
