David de GrootI missed the sound of Bell Miners. They mysteriously disappeared at home, but there’s some here by Toongabbie Creek.
Went for a #bird walk this morning as the weather was nice for the first time on this trip (not hot, nicely overcast).
I wandered down to Old Toongabbie Creek and did the part of the creekside walk.
We have a corvid of some sort, a #Galah & a #RedBrowedFinch & a #BellMiner
A lone Bell Miner (Bellbird) takes flight to another tree.
A few birds spotted from the veranda this morning in the space of about 10 mins.
One of our usual Pied Currawongs, who was being attacked by Bell Miners (the yellowy bird on the wire). A male Satin Bowerbird way off on top of a palm tree, and the male King Parrot that has been visiting recently.
