I also found two types of finches (Red-browed and Double-barred), and a bit further down the road, a Whistling Kite did a few slow circles above me.

Went for a #bird walk this morning as the weather was nice for the first time on this trip (not hot, nicely overcast).

I wandered down to Old Toongabbie Creek and did the part of the creekside walk.

The Red-browed Finches out the front of our place are still industriously nest building. Here is one of them taking a very short break after bringing more grass back to the nest.

Today, we have a juvenile Kookaburra with a massive grub the nearby parent brought it for breakfast.

And some Red-browed Finches industriously building a nest in the tree out the front of my place.
