Joseph Caryl, Westminster Puritan, comments on Job 34:28. Oppressors will seek to get all the money that they can out of the purses of the poor, to pull all the bread out of their mouths, even to draw blood from their veins. Then the poor will send up their cries, which will be heard by the Lord.
