The version I knew was by John Martyn, on one of those great KCRW samplers, Morning Becomes Eclectic. But it turns out his version was a cover of a song by #portishead. He changed it, I changed it, here it is, just me and a somewhat fuzzed-out U-Bass: "Glory Box."
