Penguin Random House is asking the court to help them break in to the Internet Archive and steal the Internet Archive's books. As usual, the one who is actually stealing books are the big legacy publishers.
But they know "we want to steal books from the library that actually owns them" sounds bad, so they have to pump out a bunch of BS accusing the library of piracy.
