Just called my #Vermont #Congresscritters, thanking #Welch and #Sanders for their statements against the bombing of #Iran, thanking #Balint for her statement on the #SCOTUS anti-trans ruling and cosponsoring the war resolutions act, and asking them all to push for #impeachment. Felt good to do. Took 5 minutes. Easy peasy.

A friend who doesn't like phones told me yesterday that she calls in the evenings and leaves messages. Still gets tallied & she doesn't have to talk to anyone.

#Vermont #Congresscritter calls today: Just left messages with #Welch and #Balint asking them to keep supporting the trans/non-binary communities, because my friends are afraid for their lives. Balint's assistant focused directly on kids' sports, which felt a little odd, but she got my point.

#Vermont, in a nutshell. #Harris, #Sanders, #Balint, #Scott, all by huge margins.

Phil Scott keeps winning because the Democratic/Progressive coalition has a supermajority in the Legislature, and his veto is the only thing that slows them down from enacting their worst impulses. Scott has not faced a serious Democratic challenge for Governor, because the likely candidates don't want to lose to him.

Becca Balint will be POTUS, if she wants to be. The question is whether she does.
