My bag is done! Such a fun sewing project. The pattern is Apex carry from In complete stitches. I've used fabrics that I had stashed, leftovers from other projects mostly. The white fabric is a tablecloth my grandma used to have, complete with old coffee stains. I only needed to buy the zipper, the green strap and anorak snap buttons (the material was too thick for the snap buttons I had at home).

Every time I sew a bag it is the most fun ever and I want to do nothing else.
I guess I really did use enough interfacing here since the bag can support it's own shape standing up like this! Very pleased. Also, go trusty old sewing machine, the seams are at places like 8 mm thick. Was a bit worried I'd get stuck. Next, on to the lining and zipper closure.

A friend asked me to make a couple of " Beach Bags" for her granddaughters for Christmas. This is what I came up with. Since beach days around here are about six months away, I went for gym or pool bag. They are made from waterproof canvas and quilting cotton. The design is mine. They have recessed zippers and an interior slip pocket, as well as a key lanyard.
I love how the cat wall climber looks like a designer bag store!

Last of my projects at a support workplace, I didn't quite manage to finish it before I had to leave so only half of the lining is on.

Left behind for someone to finish or dismantle the whole thing. Hopefully former, I suppose I'll never know. 😅

I started this with the idea to use up donated buttons that were starting to take over, the gradient didn't quite come out as good as I'd hoped, but the image doesn't fully do it justice.

I made a travel wallet for a young friend heading off the Great Britain shortly. I decided a little Canadian identity was needed. It ended up with more than a little Canadian identity. The pattern is "The Globetrot travel Sling" by ChrisW Designs. I made the right handed version. It is intended to be worn under your coat.
The materials are all from my stash.

Most random #question ever: Does #warsaw or #berlin have a #RepairShop that can fix #backpack / #bags. Like completely replace broken zippers or sew a new leather panel on it? #bagmaking
Would help me in an upcoming #eurotrip #travelling #backpacking

Working on the bag for my friend, we have an inside pocket!

I'm trying to use projects to learn more different methods. Welt pocket is a good addition.

My water bottle bag is finished! It's the most complicated bag pattern I've tried and I love the results. The front pocked can hold my phone so I'm happy. Pattern: H2O 2GO water bottle sling. #sewing #bagmaking
