College student delivers masterful post-vice presidential debate fact-check of JD Vance using basic civics knowledge

Marcus Johnson, a student at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, dismantled one of the many bad faith arguments made by JD Vance in a post-debate voter panel with NBC's Jacob Soboroff--namely, the idea that Kamala Harris should implement her policies now, when a quick civics lessons reminds you of the true powers of the vice president.

Wow! Just got reminded, via a Twitter mention, of an #illustration I did for a 2018 article by @aaronhuertas about bad faith arguments. (It was mentioned in a “good faith” discussion between two conservatives about the merits Texas succession, of all things, LOL.)
