Honestly? I can't even really remember why I checked for it. Rabbit holes, you know. Let's see if we can remember, no?

#Unicodia is open in the b/g, so I was looking for glyph or something to use for an icon, most likely (knowing how i operate). Nope, it wasn't there, so I opened Andrew West's #Babelmap - nope. Not there either. I know it's a legit symbol, because it's ancient Hindi (from what I learned about it decades ago), but as #appropriated and used elsewhere since the advent of mass media, it's most commonly perceived within that context. So, it's very sour and terrible. We all know that Some people don't agree with that, or whatever, not trying to start THAT argument. My question is more "one of science".

Like a civil science. Linguistics as well. Ask #chatGPT, right? Anyway.

I sought after a proper story about what were the processes involved in removing it from the #Unicode plane, etc. (haven't made it that far yet).

I found this. After as much effort and thought I cared to expend on it, wondering: what is this guy's point? It came to me.

Why'm I so stupid sometimes?

I wonder if the author was truly publishing from that perspective. "Let's get some hits! Can I beat my #SEO high-score from yesterday, or will it cost me more #quarters?"

@juliobiason very annoying behaviour, and unfortunately not a recent thing either...
Funnily enough I think it was the exact same site I last encountered this on, and probably also for finding an em-dash because I couldn't remember the Windows keyboard combination, and was too lazy to download #Babelmap on this machine at the time.
@schoentoon and when you do, #CharMap (or better yet, #BabelMap), or #CharacterViewer in #macOS, will come to your rescue ;)
