In the end i did end up using the #tb303 for my latest #jamuary2025 track, in a dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde dual use. Another #synth I used for this song was the Chase Bit 99 synthesizer. Just kidding. The #Crumar #Bit99 is what I got. It was sold in the UK under the Chase brand apparently (pretty corny advertising I agree). In the US they sold as both Crumar & Unique.
It is capable of layering two patches together, leaving a 3 note polyphony in that case (it has 6 voices total). The voices have a lot of character given the simplicity of the architecture thanks to CEM3328 filters
