The #BBNJAgreement is now in force, but the real work starts now.

At @OurOceanOOC #OOC11, I joined partners to discuss how we turn this historic treaty into action. Our focus is on ensuring the success of COP1 by establishing a strong Secretariat and Clearing-House Mechanism to make the Agreement operational.

With the BBNJ High Ambition Coalition now 50 countries strong, we’re ensuring this treaty delivers for biodiversity, climate, and future generations.🌍
