ich nutze euer „Azure Data Studio“, weil ich muß. Es ist von euch abgekündigt. Ihr fragt in der Software, ob ich nicht an einer Umfrage teilnehmen will. Ich hatte die kurze Hoffnung, dass es um etwas produktives zur Abkündigung geht.

Es war eine sehr kleine Hoffnung.

Somehow just finding out about this - Azure Data Studio is being retired. They are cramming it into VS Code instead through a ton of extensions you have to manage.

#AzureDataStudio hate in two parts

"I know ADS supports JuPyter notebooks, surely I can use it to document this process where you have to run multiple steps on multiple SQL Servers..." and, NO. Open ticket, 3 years. Cool, cool. Yeah, lower priority than my "ADS needs configurable Xevents", but still...

"Okay, then I can run this ONE script on Powershell... wtf, why does it want to install Python?" The people I work with aren't going to do that. WTFM.
