Yesterday we held our #vigil for #Palestine at a different spot, we were more visible and more focused on chanting and reading texts than selling merch for #Awda hospital. So I got some cookies for myself.
Lots of people stopped and participated for a while. At some point someone joined in the chanting. When we took a break he told us he is from #Gaza and started crying, he was touched by our support. Angry at those who could actually help but stick to symbolism while his relatives are dying.
