Here’s my take on #AutisticFriendship. Has 3 components: mutual infodumping; parallel play; practical support. Before I understood my neurotype I offered this everywhere, & it was rarely appreciated. This hurts. Now when I recognise a safe space with peers, I feel joy & dive in. So hungry for safe communication
