#Sprachbeschallung mit mobiler Zentrale, vom Endanwender über #Tablet gesteuert…

Eigentlich ist es ja schnell erledigt… so ein Rack zusammenschrauben. Sollte man meinen. Aber bis so ein System wirklich gründlich getestet und vor allem sinnvoll konfiguriert ist, geht dann doch einige Zeit rum.

Noch ein mal final testen, dann gehe ich nächste Woche an die Decke. Mit den Boxen.

Die End-UserInnen sollen diese Kiste aufstellen, das Ethercon-Kabel verbinden, ebenso Powercon… und dann startet alles selbsttätig. Ihre Tablets verbinden und loslegen… bin mal gespannt.

Digitalisiert wird das Audio in den Mikrofonen… analogisiert erst wieder kurz vor den Aktivboxen.

Das #AllenHeathAHM als zentraler Prozessor fällt mir leicht zu nutzen und ich habe weder im Gerät noch in der Software bisher einen Bug angetroffen. Qualität, die Freude macht.

Das ist also die Art Verkabelung in der #Veranstaltungstechnik heute.

Alles kommt via #Dante #AudioOverIP an einen Ethernet-Switch. Und dann im Rechner virtuell Strippen ziehen und das #Mischpult zusammenklicken.

Das #AllenAndHeath #AHM16 ist gewohnt einfach und kann genug für dieses Projekt… Laienbedienbare Beschallung in einer Bücherei. Einen Prototypen für die #Tablet-Steuerung gibt's bereits von mir.

(Foto ist veraltet… das ist mittlerweile schon etwas klüger und verlässt sich auch nicht mehr auf Farben als bedeutungstragende Elemente.)

I’m a broadcast systems technologist in radio. Before going into broadcasting, I was in a more IT centric role working as a systems and network admin for 12 years. There was always an interest in broadcasting for me, but I focused on IT and thought never the two shall meet. As it turns out, broadcasting has become highly computerized over the past 20 years! On this channel, you’ll find compelling content about broadcast engineering, featuring interesting equipment I use in my job, tips for new or younger engineers, how-to videos, and equipment reviews.
