People infected with hantavirus are most infectious before they show symptoms. The incubation period is up to 6 weeks after exposure. This virus has potential to spread.

All the practices that should have become routine after COVID - attention to hand and surface hygiene, monitoring air quality in enclosed spaces, using air purifiers, wearing masks where possible in enclosed & high risk settings - would greatly minimise risk of transmission of any new or existing infectious disease.

If these practices are not part of your life already - or of a school, business, hospitality venue or medical facility you are responsible for or frequent - it’s always a good time to start. Right now, in flu season (in Australia) with so many respiratory viruses about, especially so.

We may feel invulnerable, but others are not. Whose welfare do we care about?

⚡😷⚡ *If you just go to these primary studies, you realize NONE of them support the conclusion of the meta-analysis. Brutal.

If you adjust the math accordingly, you find that there's just 2 relevant studies (Bangladesh and Denmark), and both say: MASKS WORK* (28FEB2023)

“Do masks work? Recently, some ppl have started claiming it's proven that they don't. Is this true? I dove into the details, went to the sources, and what I found was so ridiculous it was FUNNY:”

😷🤷‍♀️☣️ these PEOPLE (hematologists who should KNOW BETTER) are entitled to GO FOR IT, but once they get it, they can infect others, get very sick themselves and become popular on social media!: *Hematologists. From "all over the world". This party brought them "joy". They treat leukemia patients, etc. Here they are at their joyous super-spreader event.
