If anyone out there is familiar with #CakeQoS on #Asus routers running #AsusMerlin, how do you determine the best WAN Packet Overhead settings? I have a VDSL connection. I have the Overhead at 19, MPU at 0 and Mode at PTM. I seemed to get slightly higher speeds using PTM instead of normal. However, despite an hour of reading documentation, it’s really unclear to me if I should be using Normal, ATM or PTM, whether I should have anything for MPU, and what these things actually mean.
