Join us this evening for an exciting talk on The Validation of Stellar Chemistry Machine Learning Models with guest speaker Rosayla Coulthard. Rosayla is a second year student at the University of Toronto pursuing an Astronomy and Physics specialist, Statistics Major and Mathematics minor. She is currently doing research with Dr. Ting Li's research group at the University of Toronto. Their work relates to astrostatistics, stellar streams, stellar chemistry, machine learning, and dwarf galaxies.
Some of her research interests include stellar physics, astrostatistics, big data applications, and astronomical instrumentation.
