Sheets ΡϘͲA large portion of artists went to Bluesky to not have their art AI-trained so a lot of my friends are there. Another friend is on Instagram. I have to have an account on everything to just see them. Meanwhile I have no idea for over 5 years where to post my art any more and so I have not even made art. And that had little to do with the social media war and more with the capitalist brainrot that forced any creative impuls to be an income possibility. I want to be mostly a hobbyist but the whole art community considers your art unworthy if you do not make money and have a high amount of followers. So I just froze. The anti-AI sentiments of "art being human" while this was going on always will never not be hypocritical.

Pottery by OsaPhotos from last Friday's #ArtistTalk at UUSRQ Lexow Gallery for "The Re-Enchantment of Nature," a showing of work by myself and digital collage artist Stephen White. This was my first opportunity to speak in person with a local audience since I began creating my Earth Tone pieces using #WildClay. It was a great opportunity to share inspiration and focus on what we love about where we live. I even made a punch bowl just for the event inspired by my favorite plant, the red Thai roselle.
