Velocipede RiderFancy men like me wear 'gold' watches
Since I talked so much about Casio of late, I'll switch over to an #Armitron for the day.
I put the Griffy back to it's original configuration, with the "gold" bracelet, since I'm a fancy man.
Actually I suppose you will also want to see it with those LEDs lit up, so here you go!
As I tried the #Armitron Tetra with a leather strap, I felt like I should give the #ArmitronGriffy a try. This is tricky because the original bracelet connects with only 16mm and then flairs outwards, which is uncommon. Nonetheless I kind of like it. It sort of has retro-future robotic head vibe. 🤖
I also like that the black strap references the black crystal and the red stiching hints at those LEDs. Not as clean as with the original, gold tone bracelet but fun anyway.
So it seems the #ArmitronTetra beat the #ArmitronGriffy in my #WristCheck battle but it was close!
56% in favour of the Tetra (with 50 people voting).

Still enjoying this #Armitron Griffy more than I thought I would. It was really just a "$30🇺🇸 what the hell, why not?" kind of a purchase.
Though in hindsight since the LEDs look absolutely nothing like the 70s originals, perhaps I should have just gone a step further and got the silver coloured one with green LEDs. I think that would look pretty nice and be even more readable in daylight.
oh dear, does this mean I need to buy another watch!? 😱
