If you hate them both, just hate for least hated! 😆
Interestingly the LEDs on the Griffy (left) look brighter but looking at them in the flesh, side-by-side I would say that if anything it is the Tetra (right) is actually brighter and the reason it looks reverse here is that the Tetra photo was taken in a lighter room.

Ok, just repeating for this thread, since I now have two going. 😆

Attached: 1 image Ok yes now in a slightly darkened room to better show off the difference, I can confirm that the Tetra is brighter than the Griffy, as others ⬆️ had already noticed. But I don't know why as surely they have the same module. Maybe they have improved the manufacturing process and the Tetras are from a newer run?

So it seems the #ArmitronTetra beat the #ArmitronGriffy in my #WristCheck battle but it was close!

@ruari They're both nicely styled, although the button design brings them down a bit I think.
@ruari your posts convinced me to order one on Amazon. I love the green leds and ended up going with the Griffey. Can’t wait to show it off.

@tylopoda Hah, well I do hope you like it. Though at that price the risk is not too high, IMHO.

P.S. I sort of wish I had a green LED one if I am honest.

@ruari how are these on batteries? The bulova computron is cool but you have to press a button to activate the display and it still absolutely mounches battery
@timmy I have had neither long enough to say. Like the Bulova Computrons, you need to push to activate the LED display, which is a deal breaker for some people but I am used to it. I often wear a binary watch which is also LED based and requires pushing to show the time.
@ruari ooh these are priced really reasonably for such a large chunk of stainless steel. I care less about having to replace batteries on a $50 watch than bulova’s comically poor 1 year battery on a $300 watch. Also just discovered that bulova is doing an NFT version which extremely sours me on buying anything from bulova/citizen these days

@timmy Yes the Griffy I picked up for under $30🇺🇸.

Armitron represent a great deal when it comes to steel digitals. Casio have almost none these days and the ones that do exist, cost a fair bit, all things considered.

Despite the appearance, this is the Armitron Rubik, the Casio killer we've been waiting for, or at least it seems that way on paper
