This has some oldschool grind elements, some almost blackened vocals, powerviolence vocals sometimes, and hardcore-esque or group singalong vocals occasionally? And yeah, some d-beat! It's a wild one. All with incredibly tight, catchy, dynamic riffage and drums. A winner.

#GrindayFriday this week is deathgrind- more on the death side, probably. Fans of Phoenix, Arizona's THORN will want to get in on this, as Thorn is over, but now SLIGM are in their place, and in my opinion, are better. As a 2 piece now instead of just a solo project, the drums are super dynamic and badass. 'Untethered Dimensions' is a killer EP with lots of great riffs and textures.

It's #GrindayFriday, and this week is local Phoenix, Arizona grind/powerviolence duo LAW ABIDING CITIZEN and their 2024 EP 'For the Culture' via No Time Records. The separate tracks of the EP have all been merged into one here-- just over 10 minutes total. Great riffs, brutality, insanity, a few samples that actually still crack me up (Carrey and Farley). A lot to dig on this one.
