Bruce MacDonald"Authorities previously reported that two single-engine Air Tractors were dispatched late Friday afternoon to a wildfire in the township. Upon their return to the Hibbing airport that evening, it was determined that one of the planes had damage consistent with a bullet.
"The aircraft landed safely and the pilot was not injured. The shooting is believed to have occurred around 7 p.m. after scooping water from Kjostad Lake."
