You need to wait until it's available to download. 2. In the meantime, please delete all your direct messages via https://twitter.com/messages (you need to delete every conversation using the ⁝ menu). Actually this should have been done before Musk walked in, but it's never to late. 3. When your archive is ready, download it and backup it somewhere. 4. Delete all your tweet and likes via e.g. https://tweetdelete.net/. This can take a while. 5. After all your tweets are gone (don't forget to delete your likes - they are public!) tweet a message that Twitter is now owned by a #fascist and that you advise other people to leave as well! 6. Wait 24 hours for this tweet to make the rounds and lock your account via https://twitter.com/settings/audience_and_tagging. Don't deactivate your account, because someone else can steal your handle after 30 days (afaik). 7. Optional: Remove your header image and change your profile picture to something Musk doesn't like (be creative). 8.
