Apple Vision Pro 2 może nadal korzystać z procesora Apple M4

Choć wcześniej przewidywano, że Apple Vision Pro 2 otrzyma prawdopodobnie nowy procesor Apple M5, najnowsze doniesienia Marka Gurmana wskazują, że Apple testuje także wersje z M4.

To przypomina sytuację z pierwszym modelem, który korzystał z M2, mimo że M3 była już dostępna.

Utrzymanie M4 może być elementem obniżenia kosztów, choć głównym problemem sprzedaży Vision Pro pozostaje wysoka cena (3 499 USD) i brak przełomowych funkcji. Apple planuje większą aktualizację dopiero w 2027 roku, z modelem tańszym i lżejszym.

Na razie druga generacja Vision Pro ma głównie oferować przyspieszenie procesora, a nie duże zmiany funkcjonalne.

Nowe przecieki wskazują, że Apple pracuje nad lżejszą wersją Vision Pro – możliwe, że pod nazwą Apple Vision Air.

Urządzenie ma być cieńsze, wykorzystywać tytan (również w złączach i baterii) i oferować nowy kolor przypominający grafitowo-ciemnoniebieski odcień z czasów iPhone’a 5.

Mimo zastosowania tytanu, większa część obudowy nadal będzie wykonana z aluminium w kolorze „midnight black”. W przeciekach pojawia się też informacja o nowym, grubszym złączu – większym niż port Lightning.

Nowy headset Apple może być tańszy, lżejszy i bardziej mobilny – idealny dla użytkowników oczekujących wygody i nowoczesnego designu.

Apple pracuje obecnie nad dwiema wersjami Vision – jedną tańszą i lżejszą oraz drugą, współpracującą z Makiem.
