5.15 alarm is not ideal, but meant we were at JRH ahead of 7.30 admission. Today is the day for the big op. We know it is for the best, and that it is an everyday event for the surgeon and his team, but still can't help but feel apprehensive for C. Recovery will be slow, but should get her back.
