Posting the rest of my AB cosplay pictures. My Saturday cosplay was Yohane's in this unstable world outfit. A dream cosplay, since it's the song that made me come back into the Love Live fandom after a few years apart, and the song that made Yohane my favorite.   Definitely version 1.0 of the outfit, I have a number of improvements and redoes planned (probably going to redo the skirt from scratch, and will finish a nicer version of the blouse with embroidered details sometime next month). Still, I am happy with how this came out, especially the wings. Walking around with giant wings feels pretty epic.  

Also, to be silly, I made little Tears of a Fallen Angel out of foam balls and handed them out.

Will have some nicer pictures from a photoshoot coming in a couple weeks.

Coming out of post-con hibernation for a bit to start making posts. (Also good morning to the EDT time zone.  )

Anime Boston was a lot of fun! It's been 10 years since I started going to AB, and the con still holds a special place in my heart. Last year was the first time I cosplayed Yohane, which has led to a year of fun and happiness as I've met so many great people in the local cosplay and idol communities. This year, I did way more with cosplay than ever before, and while I'm really eager to improve a lot of things, I'm also pretty proud of what I've done (and proud of the fact that I'm now dissatisfied with things that are far better than my best from a year ago.)

Some event highlights for me:

-The Queen Bee concert on Friday. Avu-chan is an incredibly talented vocalist, and this comes through even better live  

-The idol showcase. Every group really showed their stuff. So many incredible performances, I really love watching and cheering for all the groups here.

-An excellent panel on plus-sized cosplay, with both broader perspectives on inclusivity and some great practical tips.

First cosplay pic post, I was gonna be Maki for day 0 but I was late coming out of work and forgot my wig.  Still took a pic with it on back home though.

Getting hyped for Anime Boston this weekend! Looking to show off a couple new cosplays. And really excited to watch the idol showcase, a lot of groups have been making really hype posts, I have a feeling it's going to be one of the best yet!  Any other Fedi people coming?

(Takina might not make it, changing Friday is gonna be rough because we don't get hotel until at least noon, and I don't think I'll have her pistol ready at any rate.)
