As raindrops fell on the leaves of the garlic-scented plants, I saw a small snail seeking shelter under a leaf. I cautiously approached to photograph it. A woman, frowning, saw that I was taking a picture of the little snail. With great disdain, she said, "Oh, what a hideous snail." The little snail replied, "Oh, I may be a hideous snail, but no one takes pictures of you in the rain."
