#Snail #Caracolus #sagemon (#Solaropsidae, #Sagdoidea, #Helicina, #Stylommatophora, #Gastropoda) is widespread in #Cuba and a popular terrarium inhabitant. It is predominantly nocturnal, primarily frugivorous, and—as a #terrestrialsnail—frequently exhibits a need to #bathe. I have documented a #mating encounter both through video and as #photoseries. Here two primary #bodypositions of both partners.

zumindest was die bekannteste aller symmetrien anbelangt, die einfache spiegelsymmetrie, die ist hier gebrochen. sowohl durch das linksabbiegen der schnecke, als auch durch die windung des hauses, die chiral ist, nicht deckungsgleich spiegelbar. reicht das?

Silliness aside, I found a cool #snail while out on a walk today. Actually I'm not sure what snails do with one foot; "walking" seems the wrong word. Ambulating.
