Another favorite ancient deity of ours associated with lions is Isthar / Inanna, who we met on the pod all the way back in Season 1 in our Taurus episode.

Here she is seemingly walking a lion on a leash like the epic warrior/love/ date (the fruit) / wool / rain (etc) goddess she is!
