I was moving part of my catalogue to Ampwall @Ampwall I wanted to try out how this artist-first music platform might help me reach a new audience, if it can. I ended up being told off by Ampwall…

I have a single from the early days of AI there was an interesting hype on those days, around the same time NFT hype too. For the cover art, I worked with a great graphic designer I trust and respect (and still do). The main image was created with AI, combined with some excellent typography design he did. This track has been out for quite a while now and has been well received by listeners.

When I uploaded this single to Ampwall, I was warned that I was uploading AI images. At first, I got frustrated… FFS, it’s already difficult enough to navigate life as a musician and artist. But then a more grounded understanding kicked in: well, this is how it’s supposed to be. Respect ✌️

Maybe it’s a good time to start replacing those covers where I can.
