This morning I’ve picked up a silver poppy design that I started months ago, then set aside for some reason, accompanied by The Unthanks. I’m just getting back into the making groove, then I’ll have to stop again to go to Proper Work tomorrow, which is vexing.

I posted on here a while back about how hard it is to match sea glass for earrings, and someone suggested offering single earrings as statement pieces. Thinking about it, they were right, single statement earrings look really great, especially if you have multiple piercings. So I’ve taken the plunge with this one.

I’m always slightly unsure about sea pottery or glass earrings, because they’re never a perfect match, and I know that bothers some people. These make a very pretty pair though.
