I got the chance to go out to Steen Mountain and the Alvord Desert in eastern Oregon for the first time a week back to celebrate a friend’s 10-year anniversary of living in Portland.

It was awesome and a place it was great to have an excuse to get out to. While I did not set a broad land speed record on the salt flat I like to believe my solid 120km/h was the fastest a JDM HiAce and had gone there.
