An #insurrection broke out #ThisDayInHistory in 1933 in #Barcelona, #Spain. The Second Republic exacerbated #ClassConflict and suppression of 1932's #AltLlobregat insurrection radicalized #CNT. In putting down the revolt, dozens of #anarchists were killed & thousands imprisoned.
